The workshop. Recurse has insisted on reviewing the new Terms of Use line by line. It took four minutes. He seems disappointed there wasn’t more to find.

Terms of Use

Last updated: June 11, 2026

[Recurse]: Terms of Use. The page nobody reads. I read it. Here’s the suspicious summary: there’s nothing suspicious. It says the content is educational, the characters belong to the human, and you shouldn’t steal things. Case closed.

[Human Blogger]: By using this site, you agree to these terms. They’re short and reasonable. Here we go.

1. What This Site Is

AI for Normal People (“the site”) is an educational entertainment blog. AI concepts are explained through fictional cartoon characters and stories. It’s free to read.

2. Educational Content, Not Professional Advice

The content here is for general education and entertainment. It is not professional, legal, financial, medical, or technical consulting advice.

[Vector]: FASCINATING distinction! I can explain how AI image generation works with 94% accuracy, but if you’re making business or legal decisions about AI, you should consult an actual qualified human professional. They have liability insurance. I have enthusiasm.

We work hard to keep technical explanations accurate, but AI moves fast and things change. We don’t guarantee that everything is current or error-free. If you spot a mistake, tell us — we’ll fix it.

3. Our Content and Characters

Everything original on this site — the episodes, the writing, the artwork, and the characters (Vector, Kai, Recurse, Bounce, and the Human Blogger) — is the intellectual property of the site owner and is protected by copyright.

You may:

  • Share links to episodes anywhere you like
  • Quote short excerpts with credit and a link back
  • Use the concepts you learn here however you want (knowledge is free)

You may not:

  • Republish full episodes or substantial portions without permission
  • Use the characters, their names, or their likenesses in your own commercial projects
  • Claim our content as your own
[Kai]: WHIRR-CLICK Translation: link to us all you want. Quote us with credit. But the characters are not stock assets. BZZT Unauthorized Bounce reproduction will be detected. Bounce is one of a kind. Bounce agrees.

Want to use something beyond this? Just ask — reply to any newsletter email or contact us through the site. We’re friendly.

4. Acceptable Use

Don’t do harmful things with or to the site: no scraping for spam, no attempting to break the site or its services, no impersonating the site or its characters, and no using the newsletter signup to submit emails that aren’t yours.

Episodes often link to external tools, articles, and AI services. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, pricing, availability, or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement guarantee — tools change, companies pivot, free tiers vanish.

6. Newsletter

Subscribing to the newsletter is optional and governed by our Privacy Policy. You can unsubscribe anytime.

7. No Warranties / Limitation of Liability

The site is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. (In practice: it’s a free educational cartoon blog — please use judgment accordingly.)

[Recurse]: “As is” means: if Vector miscounts something at 3 a.m., you can’t sue. You can email us, and we’ll fix it, faster than any legal department would.

8. Changes to These Terms

If these terms change, we’ll update the date at the top. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.

9. Contact

Questions about these terms? Reply to any newsletter email or contact us through the site.

[Human Blogger]: That’s it. Read episodes, share links, give credit, be decent. Welcome to the workshop.
